Podcasting Course for Beginners
Learn how to create, produce and launch your own podcast in this beginner-friendly, face-to-face course at Sydney Community College’s Rozelle campus. Across six practical sessions (3 hours each), you’ll follow the complete podcasting workflow – from shaping a strong concept and format to recording clean audio, editing with confidence, and preparing your show for distribution.
This hands-on course focuses on practical skills, creative confidence and sustainable workflows so you can avoid “podfading” and keep producing content that connects with listeners. You’ll finish with a clear, step-by-step game plan to create and launch your podcast, whether you’re recording interviews, sharing stories, building a community, or supporting a business or personal brand.
You’ll gain experience using accessible and professional tools such as DaVinci Resolve (Fairlight), Audacity or Adobe Audition, while learning core audio principles that transfer across platforms.
